Back in July this year, I was invited to be a member of the International Jury of Countryside Animafest Cyprus — Views of the World a festival running its 14th edition, on July 13 to 18. This year more than 40 distinguished independent filmmakers from all over the world, including Cyprus, armed with their dreams and their craft, expressed a strong social commentary through their films. I was lucky enough to be part of this experience. Special thanks goes to the Artistic Director of the Festival Yiorgos Tsangaris! A wonderful experience and grateful that I met some wonderful people including fellow Jury members Piotr Dumala and Spela Cadez.
